Taking a realistic look at where you're going from here.

The only person who never makes mistakes is the person who never does anything. Theodore Roosevelt

Any season is a season of introspection and strategic planning. Thinking ahead to your economic well-being by laying down some robust goals might be just what the financial doctor ordered to correct a disappointing income stream. And because self-reflection can be a powerful catalyst for change, you might want to explore all opportunities to optimize your take home by considering this unique possibility I'm writing about here.

This could be your lucky read.

I just produced a video for a company that has been my client for almost two years, and for this article would prefer to remain nameless. That's because they are selling off their Suffolk County portion of a successful Long Island service business that's been serving the Residential and Commercial communities of Long Island dating back to1993.        They don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about why this sale is being proposed, especially since business couldn't be better or the future any more promising than it is right now. So why then the sale? The owner is soon approaching retirement age with no plans to actually retire. He'd rather lessen his workload and responsibilities to concentrate on the more manageable area of his Nassau County portion of the business by selling off the larger Suffolk County portion as a turnkey offering. And Suffolk, with the additional untapped potential along Long Island's famous East End, has the affluent communities that make major growth possible.

What are the services being offered?

It's a service business that's been running profitably since 1993 and has been consistently expanding its offerings according to the public need. So it comes as no surprise that it's developed into an entrepreneur's dream because of that unique feature. All the basics are spelled out in the less than 5-minute video you can watch right here (or on YouTube) but I'll give you an overall takeaway of what you can expect to learn. The video shows the interior of the Suffolk office, the inventory of the most common everyday supplies you’ll need, vehicles and equipment that come along with ownership, and answer the most asked questions made by fictional buyers portrayed by individuals representative of who real buyers ( like yourself) might be. This is a turnkey business that allows the buyer to begin earning from day one from a list of thousands of satisfied past customers and a growing menu of services that include Power Washing, Interior and Exterior Painting and Staining, Handyman offerings, Large and Small Renovations, Refurbishing from an endless list of possibilities, Insurance Repairs, Steam Cleaning and Sanitizing, Carpet and Floor Cleaning, Snow Removal and believe me, a listing that will take up more space than this page..

What's the biggest deal about it all?

You’ll see a lot in this almost 5 minute video, but the most important things you’ll learn are the fact that the current owner is offering generous financing to those with good credit. That’s the first important consideration. Another feature would be the fact that the Internet connection is an important part of today’s way of doing business and here, with total domain name protection, you'll receive an expandable 3-page website, professionally written and designed and ready for launch. This is a non-speculative business just waiting for the right individuals to take it over. That might be a husband/wife or father/son duo, or even an entire family operation. Or, it might be talented individuals who want to partner in an expandable business venture ready to do business year ‘round. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity on a first come, first served basis. There's a ton of more information available to a seriously interested buyer, and that information is shown on the video. So go ahead and watch it. See if it piques your interest. If it does, the owner’s contact information will be at the end. If you want to see or learn more work it out between you two. I’m just the messenger. Maybe you and I will get to meet one day because that professionally written and designed website you’d be buying is my work. Good luck to you both. Barry
